| First snow, ugh | | I would never have expected snow so early if I hadn't been warned by the weather man and the geese. IT was 80ty degrees the day before. However, a week ago the geese and cranes came to our town by the thousands. Our lake was drained so they parked themselves out in a wheat field that had just been cut. Now when you ask how I know there is a God I think of these things I see in nature. I just don't think geese and other animals can know all of this by accident. The sad things about it is that our leaves are not going to last as long this year. Sometimes we can have colored trees into Nov. Our fall flowers will have been frozen I am sure but yet there will be more summer next week. In fact, I hear it is to get back up into the 80ties again. | |
| | Do you like Fall season? | | For me the autumn or fall season starts in Steptember when school starts its new term.I usually do some shopping for school supplies and some winter clothes.The mild weather makes it very nice to study outside under the trees in a small park close to my house.I like to sit on a bench in the park and read;;I like to look up at the leaves changing colors from green to red and yellow,and then brown color.The park also has many bright fall flowers;;sometimes I see a small squirrel come down from the tree to hunt for food on the ground.On the weekends,I sometimes like to fly my kite.Usually on the street corners you can see street peddlers selling warm baked sweet potatoes or hot peanuts.This is a nice time of the year. | |
