| I'm not Van Gogh but.... does it matter? LOL | | I love to draw and paint. Find it very relaxing and a great activity when I'm nervous or upset.
I use to love watercolors - I still do. But I have tried a bit of everything:)
Do you enjoy painting or drawing? Do you find it has a calming effect when you need it?
Would you put your work on a wall in your home? I actually have done that. I have a few illustrations that I did for my kids, and some other things that I did over the years. I might not be Van Gogh, but I'm sure it's as good as some of the stuff we see selling out there LOL
Here's an example of one that I did and have on the wall ... | |

| | Who's favourite artist is Van Gogh. Why? | | Here is a question that tortures me. Van Gogh is one of my favorites too. I just dont understand - nobody liked him while he was living, he was so unhappy, unlucky person.(only sold 2 works during his life) It is strange how far ahead his time he was! So what exactly you like about his art? Have anyone think of it? Thanks! | |

| Vincent van Gogh and modern art | | Vincent van Gogh is well-regarded as one of the greatest and most famous artists, ever. His life and work has inspired and influenced much of art history since his tragic death in 1890. In fact, what many people today consider to be the archetypical "artist's persona" is largely a result of his influence.
Do any body heard of Vincent van gogh?
How may of you think that Vincent van gogh is one of the most talented artist?

| van gogh...and their paint.. | | A discussion of the life and works of Vincent van Gogh. After Starry Night, it is unimaginable that he would take his own life, but simply stated, he wanted to die in that beauty. He was misunderstood, unloved, and he perceived himself as a burden to those he loved. Van Gogh only sold one painting in his life, and when he committed suicide, he even failed at that and walked back to the Auberge to die. Auvers sur Oise was indeed a beautiful town, and still is, and he is buried next to his brother in a bed of ivy surrounded by wheatfield . which paint you like most..? | |
