| Is there a difference between essential oils and fragrance oils | | My overprice bath salt is just about finish so I went to GNC to buy essentials oil so I can make my own. The darn thing cost $8.99. I was at Walmart earlier and found fragrance oil. The bottle states add to potpourri and I think burner. I was wondering can I use this to make my bath salt or is there a difference. | |

| Sugar scrubs | | I have a couple of really good recipes for sugar scrubs and thought I would share one. Turbanado sugar, which thall of my recipes call for, can be bought at the grocery store so keep this in mind when you see it as the main sugar in those really expensive sugar scrubs!Just Sugar Scrub (unscented)Certified organic turbinado sugar, herbally infused certified organic olive oil, certified organic sunflower oil, rice bran oil, jojoba oil, vitamin E oil. This scrub will drive gugys wild because the scent of the jasmine will cling all over whenyou are done. Be sure to use jasmine essential oil as manyof the fragrance oils have a chemical undertone that will destroy the effect.Enjoy! | |
| | Have you ever used the Reed Diffusers for adding scent to a room? | | I love to add scents to my home but not to over do it. I burn candles often to obtain this but I would love something that would greet me when I walk in the door (besides my dog LOL) in the form of a soothing and welcoming scent.I've seen those diffuser reeds that you place in a glass with fragrance oils in them. Has anyone ever used these? Do they work well? Do they lose their scent quickly or do they last a while? And is it strong enough to welcome you at the door with the scent or more subtle and not strong at all? | |
